and today was my birthday!
i dont think i ve really ever had a better one ^^
THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS FOR EVERYTHING!!!

really- i feel so blessed! hahahahas
i finally felt like i could flow in the Spirit! so much fresh manna-
so many new revelations! everyday you amaze me Lord!

i finally understand the flowing of the Spirit!
Pastors and Leaders dreaming of a People ready to be on fire for Jesus!
People willing to be different, selfless!
not just an outward change, but leading a life reflecting Christ!
having the same thoughts. Love. Faith. Hope.

realised all along i hated conformity and being of the mould you know?
like i would always be the opposite; just to stand out./
never blend in like the rest; my secret subconscious.
i will change. now i know of a life better than my past, and i know You.
to be bold and confident. loving people, pleasing God.

then i realised the need to flow! more than just clothes or actions;
but thoughts and mindsets! to be part of a DreamTeam-
all prepared to conquer and achieve a common goal!
and what a goal! was so touched when i knew of the Phillipines
missionary trip! had always wanted to be part of something like this-
and now we are- giving a new life to those who want to start anew.
children with a better future. limitless possibilities and a hope to live./
inspite of drugs prostitution crime abusive drunk parents corruption-
fear.
not now. a vision impacting peoples lives. kinda makes life in Spore
seem so blissfully ignorant and paradise-like dont you think?

and yet we still are so wrapped up in our bubble-like insecurities.
me included, im uber stunned. whatareyouthinkinggirl- i have NO right
to be unhappy or upset or petty or selfish or ungracious or cold and rude.

not when i have been so blessed! not just today, but every single moment-
having a life many dream of living.
tertiary education. food. so much food! and clean water? and luxuries.
handphone. computer, tv. comics. moneytospend. piano. and tuition?
electricity. and i have so much to be thankful for- and friends? family, relatives?
dont even get me started!

its flabbergasting.
today i celebrate my 17th birthday.
but really, its now so much more to me than that.

once, i thought birthdays were insignificant, and superficial.
all that candles and cake, greed for presents and attention.
and purposeless parties? hmm. and it happens every year!

so untrue! now i know the real meaning of birthdays!
we celebrate our bithdays because they signify our lives.

every single life has the potential to be different, to impact this
very world in its own unique way!
just think- our very lives can change the world!
i want to leave my footprint on this Earth-making my mark.
i know that footprint might or might not disappear, given time.

but i want it at least to have inspired others.
at the very least to have made a difference in people's lives.

wed was a good portion of traipsing along
bugis street with syl,nao and (sam+friend) XD
plus a good dose of Contemporary Piano Lessons
thurs was great!- The Meeting and hanging out
with the drama banana-rama family in HoGc
and fri was spent without regrets XD

first off was how i did impromtu presentation-
which is horrible. please learn from me-
neeever try to present OP without planning thoroughly.
never!

and after that we headed to bishan-
ohmygoodness we ransacked the library to amass this
huge mountain of books- oh and
John C Maxwell rocks! ^^ and then we read books like
How to Dream and Why I Love You and
Gift Wrapping and Doll Making, Fun Crafts and such!
did you know crepes use a lot of eggs? no?
now you do XD
i mean, four eggs for a single recipe man- its like
black-forest-cake standards!
and then we read some more-
altogether totalling 2 and a 1/2 hours!
THen we went shopping. =)
bought a PRAISE AND
WORSHIP CD FOR $4.90-and its the last one!!
such a steal- XD
hahahas then we went to almost all the clothes shop
in j8 and tried looking for tank tops and good bargains!
oh and jess likes good jewellery! *so do i! ^^
its really funny- i saw a ring that costs
$1038 as Ten Dollars! gosh tt was embarrasing-
it meant 10 karats i think;
of course the sales man was
really nice about it when i asked- so thumbs up for
the flourishing spore service industry then! XD
gonna learn bead jewellery from
lil kitty soon- alright! i m making my own!!

had such a sweet day-
i hung out with syl and talked to our j2 friends!
i gave out chocolate bars with syl! ^^
i did ushering with janincedenisezien andd june!

and we had an awesome CCA performance-
mebbe it did have a few glitches, but gosh we still rawk! XD
and then i had a great time with the CG at movie marathon!
watched a horror movie and eating. and screaming. ^^

anewaes had a blast yesterday mans!
after working on the computer from six onwards
i trekked a 1/2 hour to buy breakfast for everyone
then proceeded to clean the house! im ah neat freak.
its no joke cleaning the entire floor with a rag mans-
then shopped with my mom in ntuc! ^^

then rushed to meet the guys in j8! hahahahs
we musta looked super cyute mans- like a huge
girl groupie in pastamania!
then unsuccessfully tried making
friendship bands- XD syl and sher pro la!!
and then we were in the library and it was so
packed! met xue ling (cedar!!) and samuel
(jia you for the 0s dude! ^^) and was harrassed
bytheextremelypeeved librarian, cant blame her
though- its her job and shes good at it XD

then chilled with fee,nao,desireeand chelsea for
a while (ahgonghamster super cyute! and i m
determined to break my deep vendetta and
psychological perspective towards cockroaches-
like what on earth freaks me out when i look at
a cockroach wriggling on its back *SHUDDERS
and a lil hamster curled like a ball on a wheel *AWws)

unfortunately this is only to harness courage to
face a cockroach so i can smash it instead of sprinting in
the opposite direction when i see it...
God i pray for courage and strength for this! hahahas

then had piano and good Lord my scales are the pits!
nono must have faith!! two hours of practice a day alone-
but with God i pray i accelerate and improve by leaps
and bounds yea! ^^

then read up on sketching, which i now am quite
interested in hehs (still an amateur though)
and did a couple of collages as well!

had such a blast celebrating yesterday!!!
the tangible jubilation;
the sweet relief. the giddy light-headedness
as the multitudes swept into the school
compound- FREED.

went out to Marina Square with my two compadres
MAY and JESS ^^
and we had early brunch at Jacks Place!! XD
im not kidding! the shoppes went pretty all half-closed
so we were chilling around, giving the poor azabu(sabo)
ice cream man false hope hahahhas and waiting
for the daily lunch set of the day to be prepared ^^

goodness it felt like FOODIE HEAVEN manns-
for somebodys whose impression of a good lunch extends
to MOS burgers and perchance YOSHINOYA
(ji-phoon food! ji-phoon food! hahahas)
familiar, well-respected veterans of the japanese
fast-food industry. but today signified a new start of something
wayy different.

to be honest,
i ve never spent Thirteen Dollars on good food
at a go before ^^ ahhhs but it was so REASONABLE.

letssee. i mean- probably as much as you d pay for
a movie right? (tickets and popcorn combo)
but noo.. you can choose instead, to spend it on this! =)

a daily set lunch meal
complementary coffee/tea

entree; soup of the day
hearty chicken broth served with garlic bread

main course (ilove!):
grilled dory fish in a roux cheese sauce
with heapings of corn and vegetables and
a mound of mashed potato [germany-style]

and dessert: peach souffle garnished with chocolate
and served with a sweet custard sauce.

coincidentally, my sister connotes my term:
'foodie' to 'pig', but i always say at least foodies
always appreciate good muck. XD

and then we went bowling!! ^^
okay the floor of lane 13 should be cracked by now-
but i hit a personal 2nd best of 78 points!! ^^
hahahahs total: 185 pts for the girl power team-
and my goodness it was so much fun! =D
Jess was so funny cuz she always had the
'oops' face after she thought she threw a longkang
and May was right: you actually can predict when
you will throw one cuz you d auto- turn and
walk right back without looking to see the pins! XD

hahhaahs then we went over to suntec for YAMI
yoghurt- mines peachnpineapple- oh and its refreshingly
good- like sorbet; 97% fat free? =)
then we basically covered the entire section of suntec
burning our accumulated calories ^^
oh toys r us and this uber cool place where you
can stuff your own toys we spent nearly two hours in-
and we must have had such a deprived childhood cuz my
favourite toy was this realistic bomb grenade hahahahs
(tt ticks really fast when u press the button)
and i think May's was a puppet Ernie (super funny la!! XD)
and Jess's musta been one of those
huge stuffed plushie animals ^^
(like her meow-meow alter-ego!) hahahahs

sadly we parted after spending an hour? =) choosing
perlins silver earrings for jess and about SEVEN hours
together for the whole day eating fine cuisine and
window shopping!! goodness
I LOVE MY FELLOW BABES!! XD

and then had an awesome time hanging out with
syl and sher (you guys rawk man! ^^)
after having an inspiring talk from liane
in church! yeass cant wait to put our plans into
action! hohos
God knows our secrets and dreams and i believe that
Jehovah Jireh!
He will provide!! ^^
